Previous article: About my progress and my mood
Since I arriving in Calgary in May 2023, I wrote my first big novel entitled Leucosie. It was a project I had for a very long time, more than 8 years. In 2015, I wrote a short story about Leucosie, the white mermaid and her adventures. It wasn’t a very good story, or I had a good story but my writing was horrible! And not well done. So one day, I decided to turn this short story into a novel. And here we go! It was time! So I wrote a lot every day to start and finish this book, and yes, I succeeded!

Leucosia is a mermaid who lives alone and far from her people. She has made this choice for years already in order to escape the overly strict rules of Triton, her king whom she hates so much.
In order to find the love of her life, she kidnaps Triton and forces him to swallow human souls, which she stole by sinking ships, after she fed on the hearts of sailors. One soul, Henry’s, finally takes possession of the king.
So begins the unfortunate story of the trio who can only live together, while hating each other.
As this writing is in French and it is my first novel, I don’t know if I will translate it. I don’t feel good enough in English for that. But maybe one day.
Let me know if you would like it translated into English ^^.
